What is Reiki?
Reiki is a method of healing that works with the electrical system of the body. It originated in Japan and has since traveled to the USA by way of Hawaii. Unlike massage which uses a variety of pressures and contact to work with the body's muscular and connective tissues through physical movement, Reiki practitioners use practices and techniques to impact the nervous system of the body energetically.

Human bodies are designed to interact energetically as well as physically with our surrounding world. Just as in the world of dance, "ballet" or "tango" are styles made up of certain criteria but do not claim to encompass the entirety of dance, Reiki is a methodology among many types of energy healing. It uses a light touch or no touch at all to direct energy through the body.

Classes will meet via video call with recordings sent to your email address after for review as needed.
Reiki Level 1 Certification included.
Meet with a group of supportive healers as you learn techniques of Reiki including:

Reiki Level 1 is meant for self healing.
This course will increase your self awareness, reduce anxiety and other stress related symptoms, and give you a larger emotional and mental bandwidth to navigate life’s challenges.
Classes will meet on Sundays beginning March 1 and ending March 22, with a follow up class (meant to integrate your 21 day self -Reiki journey) on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

More Info About Reiki Training
Reiki is an energy healing technique practiced worldwide. It works by affecting the electromagnetic balance of the body. Our bodies function because of chemical as well as energetic health. Similarly to how a massage impacts the muscles and lymphatic systems in the body, Reiki impacts the electricity, or energy, moving through the body, which impacts every aspect of health.
Reiki classes consist of weekly one hour classes for four weeks. Classes are recorded and sent to students afterward via email.
